WEEK 3

Hey everyone,

As of now Doug hasn't e-mailed me back on our music critiques so we will probably have to go ahead and do it ourselves, we can discuss our options in class at the meeting.

The toad low poly is done, we just need to tweak the toes a bit but the rig and texturing is underway and later one Steve was mentioning a way to switch out the lower poly for the high poly model.

This week we are still working on assets and getting everything ready for animating.

I will post more later after our group meeting and class.

Week Two

Global Production Timeline

Shot List

Hey everyone,

The above link should go to our global production as well as our shot list. Please check it and see what you have assigned and when it should be done. If anyone has any questions about when something is due, it's the week after it is no longer schedule in your time period to get it done. So if you have week 4 - 6 to get it done, week 7 it should be done and ready to go.

With Hubert so everyone knows, I am going to have a friend zbrush him and then it's going to be sent off to Naomi for texturing and rigging.

Also with the soundtrack, we have until week 5 to figure it out so we'll have to see where we are after Doug does some revisions and then we'll go from there.

For environment objects please keep in touch with Nathan, we need a lot of trees/foliage. The sooner on that the better so we can get lighting and everything perfect for week 5. Week 5 it HAS TO BE DONE. The shot 1 environment is different for our opening scene, so that needs to be done week 4 textured, lit and everything.


That's basically where we are at right now, just continue working on whatever you are assigned. Please note characters should be z-brushed at least a little bit to get some good detail in there. Thanks everyohe

Week 2 Class

Hey everyone,

As stated in the e-mail I sent out I finished our Production Pipeline and attached it so everyone should have a copy of this.

We also have the start of Doug's music, so please take a look at that and we'll discuss it in class about what we were all thinking and the areas to improve upon.

This week we will continue to work on assets, getting everything ready to start the animation week 4, as well as the first scene which is just an environment shot but that will be started next week.

Heres the redone animatic, it's missing a shot because we're having technical difficulties with it, but this way we can get something up for us to look at until the other shot is fixed.

For Week 6

Just a quick reminder of what is expected for next week, we will need rough storyboards. The shot list is on our network share but i will upload it to the website for everyone to access it. We will also get those character tear sheets by Saturday.

Some things about our presentation from our Week Five Midterm, was that we should all take a theatre acting class to help us learn to project and what not. We should view our recording next week to see how we did though.

AGENDA

If you look at our website, I added a page that is called the Fairy and the Frog which contains links to our stuff thus far.

When you create something, please upload it to the website so it's available. If you can't upload it to the website, upload it to your student website and then just post the link to it.

There is also an excel Document that shows what is due next week for each person and PLEASE do research on the characters you concept because we will need to show our research when we show our concepts and how it applies to what we came up with.
